We are happy to announce the collaboration of the Thomas Marinaro Quartet and percussionist Joey Gonzalez. It's hard to watch a gig that Thomas Marinaro is on and not recognize the love he has for performing and making music with his fellow bandmates.  Those of you who have seen Joey perform, know that he has the same contagious stage presence that fills the room with joy, energy and a wonderfully musical experience.  Every time Joey and Tom play a gig together, there is a clearly organic love and chemistry between the two musicians, so it only made sense to invite Joey to be featured with the group!

Joey Gonzalez has continued to commit his life to music, being a part of many musical ensembles covering multiple genres. His commitment to music has led him to broaden his horizons in the world of production, arranging, and studio recording.

Joey's musical skills has made way for him to contribute on recordings with Artist such as India Arie, Jennifer Holiday, Daniel Moore, Angelica Torres, Voices of Faith, Ron James, Sean Micheal Ray, Troy Sneed and many more. In 2011 Joey got the chance to tour all over the States, Canada and Over Sea with the amazing Janelle Monae.

Joey Gonzalez is truly a musician with Poise, Passion, and Purpose.

The Thomas Marinaro Quartet plays a wide genre of jazz spanning from bebop to modal and funk tunes. We look forward to adding Joey's flavor to the group!
